If you haven’t tasted pistachio butter, it basically tastes like Nutella, but more luxurious (at least the one I use, which is sweetened and has some olive oil in it!). It’s delicious!



The oatmeal
40 g / 1 dl / 0.4 cup whole rolled oats
200 g / 2 dl / 0.8 cup water
50 g / 0.5 dl milk
1 tsp pistachio butter
1 pinch of salt

banana, sliced
white chocolate, chopped
pistachios, chopped
pistachio butter
milk, warm


Add the oats, water, milk, pistachio butter, and a pinch of salt in a small saucepan over medium-high heat. Cook the oatmeal until thickened to your liking, stirring occasionally for extra creaminess.

Transfer the oatmeal to a bowl and top it with banana slices, chopped white chocolate and pistachios, pistachio butter, and some warm milk.

The pistachio butter I use is already sweetened. Therefore I do not add any other sweetener. If the one you are using is not already sweetened, I recommend adding a sweetener like maple syrup!
