OATMEAL WITH BLUEBERRY JAM

This Oatmeal with Blueberry jam recipe is easy and so delicious! It’s perfect for a healthy and fun breakfast or snack. The oatmeal is made in the microwave and takes only 2 minutes to cook, and thanks to the milk, the oatmeal turns out super creamy.

INGREDIENTS
The Oatmeal
1 dl oats, 35 g
0.5 dl milk, 50 g
1.5 dl water, 150 g
1 pinch of salt
The Blueberry Jam
0.5-1 dl frozen blueberries
0.5 dl water
1 tsp maple syrup
1 ml corn starch
Toppings
milk, warm and preferably frothed
maple syrup
cashews, chopped
hemp seeds
INSTRUCTIONS: Into a small saucepan over medium high heat, add blueberries, water, maple syrup and corn starch. Let come to a simmer and let cook for about 10 minutes or until the jam has thickened. Stir once in a while and mash the blueberries. Into a bowl add oats, milk, water, maple syrup and a pinch of salt. Microwave for 30 seconds, give it a stir and repeat until thickened to you liking. Top the oatmeal with warm milk, the blueberry jam, maple syrup for more sweetness, chopped cashews and some hemp seeds. Enjoy! NOTES
